A record-breaking 2025 set the tone. In 2026, we raise the bar again.

As we wrap up the year, it’s clear that 2025 surpassed all previous records. With 165 new customers, a strong new minority investor, and – most importantly – new features that improve everyday workflows, we’re already looking forward to taking on 2026.

A record-breaking 2025 set the tone. In 2026, we raise the bar again.

Our driving force, and the reason Mediaflow exists, is our belief that there are better ways to work and collaborate with images, video and brand assets. Your daily workflows are at the centre of every update and release we make.

Product updates

This year, we placed strong emphasis on brand management and helping organisations ensure everyone knows which assets to use – and how. When we updated our own visual identity this autumn, we had plenty of reasons to put all of these tools into practice ourselves.

The Brand Portal keeps your visual identity from becoming a forgotten PDF. It gathers all brand assets in a clear, accessible way and turns your guidelines into an easy-to-use, easy-to-navigate website for both rules and files.

During the autumn, we also began rolling out the updated Play Portal, built on the same framework as Brand Portal but with video at its core. Many customers appreciate having a dedicated space where the full video experience can be branded – without ads or competing content.

Smart Folders

Working with shared files often comes down to finding common denominators and building folder structures everyone understands. It’s a challenge we now solve largely with Smart Folders. You can now create folders that automatically populate with files based on search filters and metadata criteria.

Integrations and Start Templates

Our integrations continue to be essential for teams publishing and working across platforms. This year included major updates for Adobe InDesign.

Our Design Templates team has also had a busy year – a clear sign of how templates streamline workflows for organisations producing print and visual materials throughout the year. We also introduced Start Templates, reducing setup time with a faster and more straightforward onboarding process.

How the platform will evolve

Early next year, we’ll launch one of the biggest updates to Mediaflow’s DAM interface: an entirely new way to search and navigate. A Command Palette will allow you to find files and functions in one unified interface – making navigation faster and more intuitive.

Thanks to new investment capital, we will also strengthen our development team and accelerate product development. This includes:

  • New Media Portals built on the same engine as Play Portal and Brand Portal

  • Major developments in our GDPR functionality

  • Brand-adapted Web Links

  • Interface updates in the Design Generator

  • New integrations for Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

A big thank you to all customers, partners and users who have been with us this year. We look forward to taking the next step together.

How to get more people to use the system the right way

28 January 2026

Like many organisations, you’ve probably invested time in choosing the right tool for managing images and video, and now it’s time to start using it. Yet even with the right features in place, a well-thought-out structure and clear permissions, only a few people use the system consistently. Others use it sporadically – or not at all. So how do you get everyone who needs it to actually use the platform?

How to onboard new users without increasing the workload

28 January 2026

When new users are introduced to a system, several challenges arise. On the one hand, you want them to become self-sufficient quickly. On the other, time for onboarding is limited, and the people who know the system already have full workloads. But onboarding doesn’t have to be a burden.
