Visual AI search – when you know what the image looks like, but not what it is called

Everyone who works with images has been there. You know exactly which image you are looking for, but you cannot remember the file name, where it is in the folder structure, or which tags were used. You remember the subject, the feeling, maybe the colors. But in traditional search fields, that is rarely enough.

Finding the right asset has never been easier

With Mediaflow’s visual AI search, that is enough. Open Command Palette with CMD + K on Mac or Ctrl + K on PC and describe the image content in your own words.

The feature works completely independently of manual tags, which means you can type things like “children in forest” or “person with backpack in nature.” The AI analyzes the image content and finds matches based on the subject, not on what someone happened to write as a file name or in a metadata field.

How to search using an image as a reference

You can also search using another image as your starting point. Paste in an image from the web or select an existing file in the platform and ask Mediaflow to find visually similar content. It is perfect when you want to find variations of a subject, build an image series with the same tone, or discover duplicates in the media bank. You can also use it to see whether you already have images in a certain style.

Instead of clicking through folders or trying different search terms, you quickly find the right material, even when you are not quite sure what to type. The result is less searching, fewer compromises, and a workflow where you can actually use the content you already have. Right when you need it.
