Accessibility Regulations / WCAG

The "Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018" applies to services and information provided by a public entity on a website or a mobile application, and it imposes requirements for accessibility. With Mediaflow, you can access several features that facilitate compliance with this law.

We offer a video player that meets the requirements set for video ("time-dependent media") according to EN 301 549 V2.1.2, and thus, WCAG 2.1. Our CMS plugins assist with tasks such as handling alt-texts by allowing you to import pre-filled texts from Mediaflow into your web tools automatically.

However, as an administrative tool, Mediaflow does not fully meet all the requirements outlined in the Accessibility Regulations. This also applies to the parts intended for administrative tasks, such as video management, CMS tools for web editors, etc. Internal systems, such as case management, human resources, or other internal web-based systems, are also not covered by the Accessibility Regulations. Nevertheless, we strive to make all parts of Mediaflow easy to use, straightforward, and efficient for all our customers.
